Holidays in Orlando

Terrace Ridge, a gated resort, just minutes from Disney, and only a couple of miles from Champions Gate and Reunion Golf clubs with all their attractions.
Terrace Ridge Circle, is within easy access of the main I4 with junction 58 just a mile and half away, yet the easy laid back atmosphere on the site, with its 4000 sq ft air conditioned club, with heated pool and spa, will make you relax, maybe even enough to make you think you might need to try out the fitness room, or for the rest of us just the games room, a game of pool perhaps?

The quiet side should not be underestimated, after a day out and about you will welcome your return to the peaceful resort, after all a day on the links or at one of the many Disney theme parks can be a real adventure.

Our Condo offers a open plan living and dining area, sleeping up to eight people comfortably in 4 bedrooms, there is a master bedroom Queen double bed and en-suite bathroom with walk in wardrobes it also has cable TV. The second double also has a queen size bed with TV, the two other bedrooms are twin bedded, and there is a main bathroom with bath and shower. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your needs, a range cooker, combination microwave; refrigerator with ice maker, and dishwasher, there is also a garbage disposer and full size laundry room.

The living room has a 32” cable TV with DVD, video and PS2, a stereo CD player, and high speed internet connection. The dining area seats six but has space up to eight. The condo is fully air-conditioned but we have installed ceiling fans to all rooms. There’s even a garage.

The balcony overlooks the pool and volleyball court, so you can even keep an eye on the kids.

Shops, restaurants, are on your doorstep; Disney world and International drive (Shopping Malls etc) are just a short drive away and 20-30 championship golf courses are within a 30 minutes radius of Terrace Ridge.

For those who like to get out and about Florida is a wonderful place, try a drive up to the pretty little village of Mt Dora, its about an hours drive away but well worth the trip, you could even stop off a the Lakeridge Winery & Vineyard its on your way, and they let you taste before you buy.

We recommend a bottle of the Cuvee Noir it goes down very well after a long day, sat on the balcony sipping and letting the sun just go down.

Why not take a trip out to the Kennedy Space Station, again only an hour drive, and if you are lucky you could see a rocket launch, check the Nassau web site for details of launch dates, the last shuttle launch ( Dec 06) was viewed on our very own balcony, sadly we were not there to see.

The list of places to see is endless, but sometimes it’s just great to sit back and relax.
